Getting There & Around

Plane

Three airports serve as gateways to New York — John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). JFK and LGA are both in Queens while EWR is in neighboring New Jersey.

The NYC subway is extensive. It connects Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx, and runs on Staten Island.

Taxi

Taxis can be found all over Manhattan but difficult to find in parts of Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx.

Rideshare

Uber and Lyft are available all over Manhattan. This is also the best way to travel to parts of Brooklyn and Queens.

Ferries connect Queens, the western coast of Brooklyn, the eastern side of Manhattan as well as Staten Island. The ferry to Staten Island is free.
